Title-insurance firm renames Irish operations

Westcor International, which provides title-insurance policies for property, has officially opened its Irish headquarters in Dublin.

The firm had already been providing services in Ireland as WIL Speciality Ltd, previously known as Titlesolv.

The US-owned firm has now switched its registered title to match that of its UK operations, ahead of further expansion across Europe.

‘Expertise and experience’

“Those already familiar with our services can be rest assured that the formal change in name will have no adverse effect on the expertise and experience we have to offer,” said Christopher Taylor (Westcor International’s head of corporate development).

“As part of a group of companies with an annual income in excess of $1.5 billion, our Irish customers benefit from both our in-depth understanding of in-country commercial and residential property transactions, and the support of specialist underwriters in our London and Glasgow offices,” Taylor added.
